Church celebrates work in Nogales, Sonora with festival

Casas Adobes Congregational Church of the United Church of Christ, 6801 N. Oracle Road, will celebrate four years of working in Nogales, Sonora with a festival 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 1.聽

The church has worked with women in Nogales teaching crafting skills and rehabilitating a childcare center. Some of the needlework creations will be available for purchase. The event is free. There will also be music and food.聽
