The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will dedicate the new ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ temple with a cultural celebration Saturday, Aug. 12, and the placement of a cornerstone Sunday, Aug. 13.
More than 112,000 people visited the temple during its June open house. The temple is no longer open to the general public.
The church will live-stream the cultural celebration — a pageant showcasing ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ history with about 2,100 teens taking part — from Kino Sports Park to Mormon meetinghouses at 7 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12. There are no available seats left in the sports park.
To catch the live stream, arrive by 6:30 p.m. to one of the following meetinghouses: Rincon Stake, 1655 S. Melpomene Way; ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Stake, 105 N. Norton Ave.; ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ East Stake, 6901 E. Kenyon Drive; ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ North Stake, 939 W. Chapala Drive; ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ West Stake, 3530 W. Magee Road; ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ South Stake, 7001 E. 21st St.; Marana Stake, 13450 N. Lon Adams Road in Marana; Sahuarita Stake, 16275 S. Starlight View Lane in Sahuarita; and Sierra Vista Stake, 2100 E. Yaqui St. in Sierra Vista.
