The ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Police Department arrested five men in connection with Saturday's armed robbery of a pawnshop on North First Avenue and East Prince Road on the city's north side, according to a news release.
Police arrested Freddie J. Salazar, 25; Samuel Flores, 26; Michael Martinez, Jr., 30; Adrian A. Martinez, 27; and Victor G. Pereyra, 24, after the robbery, police said.
The men are accused of robbing the Super Pawn shop at 3650 N. First Ave. after 3 p.m. Upon entering the business, one of the robbers used pepper spray on the faces of employees and customers and ordered them to get on the floor.Â
The remaining robbers broke open display cases and fled north on foot along First Avenue with jewelry and handguns, police said.
The five suspects were found Saturday afternoon by officers in the surrounding neighborhood, police said. One suspect was seen in the area and he ran from officers, discarding a bag he was carrying that contained jewelry and handguns from the pawnshop, according to police.Â

The five suspects were arrested on suspicion of armed robbery and aggravated robbery and booked into Pima County Jail, police said.Â
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ police are continuing the investigation, and additional charges may be added later. Detectives are asking anyone with information to call 88-CRIME.Â
