U.S. Marshals arrested a man in connection with a shooting near a Family Dollar in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥, authorities said.
Lee Roy Hickman, 32, was arrested last Friday for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and felon in possession of a firearm for firing a handgun at a person near the store.
On Feb. 25, authorities say Hickman drove to the Family Dollar and started an argument with a person he had observed in the parking lot.
Hickman fired several shots at the person, who was able to run away without being hit.
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Police Department requested assistance with arresting Hickman from the U.S. Marshals Service, which is leading the ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ WANTED Violent Offender Task Force.

U.S. Marshals located Hickman leaving in his vehicle near Mission Road and Drexel Road Friday morning. He was arrested and turned over to ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ police. The investigation is ongoing.
“Lee Roy Hickman is a violent criminal who was growing more violent every day in the ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ community, said U.S. Marshal David Gonzales in a press release. "Due to the outstanding partnership between the U.S. Marshals and the ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Police Department, Hickman was apprehended before he could seriously hurt anyone.â€
