Authorities are investigating an attempted carjacking at knifepoint in the University of ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ area, a UA campus alert message says.
The alert, issued at 1:19 p.m. Friday, says the incident took place near East 6th Street and North Cherry Avenue.
The suspect, described as a Hispanic male about 30 years old, was last seen running south from the area, the alert said.
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Police Department and the University of ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Police Department are both working the case.
