A 23-year-old motorcyclist was killed Sunday afternoon in a wreck near East Broadway and South Craycroft Road, ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ police say.
E’mari Armond Phillips was riding a 2024 Yamaha YZF-R7 south on Craycroft when he collided with a northbound 2008 Ford F-350 that was turning left onto East Cooper Street, ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ police said in a news release.
Phillips died at the hospital.
The unidentified driver of the Ford stayed at the crash scene and cooperated with police, the release said.
Initial findings indicate failure to yield while making a left turn by the driver of the F-350 and speeding by Phillips were the major contributing factors in the collision, the release said.
The investigation continues.
