The company is looking to fill 1,000 seasonal openings across the state.

A variety of positions are open including cashiers, replenishment specialists, and beauty consultants. 

People interested in a seasonal position can apply or in store at one of the three ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ locations. JCPenney will also host a hiring event from 2 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 16 at all locations. Qualified candidates will have the chance to interview with managers on the spot.

And the best part — all seasonal employees will get a store discount of up to 25 percent, right in time for the holidays.

Plus, the company will also provide prizes to eight randomly-selected employees nationwide who stay with the company until Dec. 29. The biggest prizes are trips to Canada, New York City, and Miami — all expenses paid.
