A 15-year-old bicyclist who was struck by a car remained in a ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ hospital Thursday afternoon, said the Sahuarita Police Department.
The department said earlier Thursday the teen had been pronounced dead around 2 a.m. Thursday.
However, in an updated release Thursday evening, the department said the teen was alive, but that he remained "intubated."
The teen was struck by a car around 8 a.m. Tuesday, near South Old Nogales Highway and East Quail Crossing Boulevard, police said.
He was taken to a hospital in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ and the driver of the vehicle remained at the scene. No arrests have been made in connection with the crash, the release shows.
