A man is in custody following an early morning shooting and hours-long standoff with police, officials said.
Shortly after 6 a.m., a man called 911 and said that someone had knocked on the door to his apartment, saying he had been shot, said Sgt. Pete Dugan, a ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Police Department Spokesman.
Officers went to the Kachina Court Apartments, located near East 29th Street and South Craycroft Road and found a victim with multiple gunshot wounds, Dugan said.
The victim was transported to a local hospital and is reported to be in stable condition with injuries that are not life threatening, Dugan said.
Police received information that someone involved in the shooting possibly ran into an apartment at the complex, and officers began trying to communicate with the person they believed was inside, Dugan said.

Officers received credible information that the person was inside, and called SWAT and negotiators to the scene, Dugan said.
The armed man barricaded himself inside the apartment and began live-streaming the standoff, Dugan said.
Police evacuated several nearby apartments and shut down 29th Street during the seven-hour standoff, and eventually, the man exited the apartment peacefully, Dugan said.
The person is in custody, although police aren't yet able to say what his relationship is to this morning's shooting.
