Last year during the holidays, the Star profiled 10 young ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ans who make us hopeful about our city’s future.
We learned about a teen who provides volunteer tech support for a local retirement community and a 16-year-old who collected thousands of dollars worth of sports equipment to donate to kids in Sells.
The submissions we received overwhelmed us. But in a good way.
There are a lot of impressive young people in our community.
So we’re bringing the series back for a second round.
If you know someone 25 or younger who lives in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ and is making a difference in our city, in ways big or small, we want to know. This is how we’ll welcome 2017.
To nominate a young achiever or kind kid, email jwillett@tucson.com with your suggestions. Please include your full name, the nominee’s full name, contact information for both of you and the reason this person makes you hopeful for a brighter tomorrow.
