A two-part winter storm will start Thursday evening, with periods of light to moderate valley rain continuing through Friday morning.
The second part of the storm will be stronger and colder, and could hit as early as Friday afternoon. Widespread rain will be accompanied by gusty winds.
For ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥, expect rain, sometimes heavy, on the valley floor. For the mountains around us, you could see blizzard-like conditions with up to 3 feet of snow possible at the highest elevations.

Heavy snowfall is forecast above 5,500 feet, with up to 36 inches possible in some locations. Snow levels could drop to about 4,000 feet by Saturday morning.
