Phoenix's starting lineup included star guard Devin Booker, Isaiah Canaan, Ryan Anderson and Trevor Ariza. 

Matched up against Dallas' Slovenian rookie Luka Doncic and newly acquired DeAndre Jordan, Ayton was active early and finished the first quarter with eight points on 3 of 3 shooting and three rebounds. 

At halftime, Ayton had 10 points and five rebounds. 

The Suns pulled away in the second half behind Booker's 19-point performance in the fourth quarter, finishing with a game-high 35. 

Doncic had 10 points on 0 of 5 shooting from 3-point range and grabbed eight rebounds.
