Another major baseball outlet is predicting a big spring for ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ junior outfielder Brendan Summerhill.
tabbed Summerhill as a preseason first-team All-American.
Earlier this year, Perfect Game named Summerhill a preseason third-team All-American, along with teammate Mason White.
Summerhill enjoyed a breakout campaign in 2024, slashing .324/.399/.550 with 32 extra-base hits, 50 runs scored and 59 RBIs. Summerhill then had a good showing in the Cape Cod League, hitting .286 with 12 stolen bases in 84 at-bats.
"It’s fun. It's really cool," Summerhill said of the accolades he has received. "Coming here, that was the plan. By this point, that's where I wanted to be.

"I'm happy about it. (But) there's definitely no sense of letup, no coasting now, because this team is super special. Personal accolades are awesome but ... the one goal is to go win a national title, not win these personal awards."
BA also released its Top 200 prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft. Summerhill landed at No. 22. White (Salpointe Catholic High School) is No. 43 after slugging his way to 19 home runs and 65 RBIs last season.
Also appearing in the Top 200: UA right-hander Collin McKinney (No. 189), a transfer from Baylor who's expected to be part of the Wildcats' weekend rotation.
Two UA signees in the class of 2025, right-handers Jack Lafflam (No. 91) and Dylan Wood (No. 142), also made BA's list.
The publication put out a projected NCAA field of 64, as well, and has ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ as a No. 2 seed in the Baton Rouge Regional hosted by LSU and former UA coach Jay Johnson.
The Wildcats will host their annual "Meet the Team" scrimmage and autograph session Saturday afternoon at Hi Corbett Field. They open the season Feb. 14 against Ole Miss in the Shriners Children's College Showdown in Arlington, Texas. The home opener is Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 2 p.m. vs. New Mexico.Â
