Whenever we ask our Instagram followers what they want to know — about us, about ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥, about anything — we often get the question: Where can I find the best dessert in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥?

We're blessed to live in a city filled with dozens of places to get a raspado, an east-side pie shop that ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ans have fallen in love with, date-night spots showcasing desserts that Australian pâtissier Adriano Zumbo would approve of, and home bakers popping up at local markets with their vintage-decorated cakes and tasty pan dulce.

Sydney's Sweet Shoppe has a long list of pie flavors, including both fruit and cream flavors. Pictured is cherry.

HeeMee Coffee + Bakery — Here's where you'll find pastries with Korean influence. The rotating menu includes buns with fillings like red bean or ube, matcha cakes and cookies with Korean mugwort powder. Twice a week, HeeMee also makes Korean shaved ice, called bingsoo. Find at

La Baguette Bakery — Next door to Ghini's French Cafe is La Baguette Bakery, with its breads, tarts, cookies, macarons, truffles and long list of breakfast pastries. Find at .

La Baguette Parisienne — ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ans were devastated when French bakery La Baguette Parisienne announced that it would close its doors after 39 years. But the closure didn't last long — new owners stepped in and quickly reopened the bakery. Find at .

LeCave's Bakery — LeCave's legacy in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ has stretched for nearly a century, originally on the south side and now in midtown. There are doughnuts, eclairs, cakes, empanadas and cookies. Find  ²¹³ÙÌý

Locale — In 2022, Italian restaurant Locale expanded with a bakery, filled with rotating pastries like croissants and pear tarts. Their regular lunch and dinner menu also has yummy dessert options! Find at .

Mona's Danish Bakery — This bakery has been in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ for more than two decades, with an owner who grew up in Denmark. Among the pastries: bear claws, turnovers, cookies, croissants and danishes. Find at

Mt. Lemmon Cookie Cabin — If you're taking a day trip to Mount Lemmon and need something sweet, stop by Mt. Lemmon Cookie Cabin for a plate-sized cookie topped with ice cream. (Across the street is the Mt. Lemmon General Store, which has fresh fudge!) Find  ²¹³ÙÌý.

Nadine's Bakery — Nadine's offers Jewish sweets like rugelach and babka, king cake for Mardi Gras, more than 50 different kinds of cookies during the holidays and lots of pie flavors. Find at .

Special Eats Sweets — You may have seen Special Eats rolling across town in a yellow food truck, serving up crispy grilled cheese. Sydney's Sweet Shoppe — The pies at this shop (which come in two dozen flavors) are loved by ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ans. If you need any proof of it, they made 700 (!!) pies one Thanksgiving. Find  ²¹³ÙÌý.

Treats by Robyn — This baker has a long list of Filipino specialties including ube cake pops, pandan cupcakes and ube hand pies, not to mention other treats like macarons in 10 flavors. Follow Treats by Robyn .

Home baker Ube Bae makes ube cookie dough croissants.

Ube Bae Dessert — Wife, dog mom and active-duty military member Brittany Gudino has turned her love for baking into a side hustle. She creates Filipino-inspired desserts from home, including ube crinkle cookies, ube cookie dough croissants and Taiwanese snowflake crisps. Follow Ube Bae .

Village Bakehouse — This Oro Valley eatery has a patio that fills up on weekends, with diners enjoying brunch favorites. But you can't leave without scanning the pastry case filled with macarons, cookies and mini cheesecakes. Village Bakehouse is where my mom ordered her wedding cake. Salted caramel, pistachio, amarena cherry, peach cream pie and watermelon are ready for customers at Blue Ice Gelato.

Bella's Gelato Shoppe — This beloved gelato shop, named after the owners' late dog Bella, made its debut as a food truck until getting permanent roots in a brick-and-mortar in midtown. Find at .

Bobazona — With six locations throughout ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥, this small chain has a packed menu of boba and smoothies ... in addition to gelato in flavors like ube, bourbon vanilla apple crisp and strawberry cheesecake. Find at .

Frozen Delight — One of ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥'s first froyo shops when it started in 1990, Frozen Delight serves frozen yogurt, Thrifty ice cream and boba teas. Find at .

Licks Catalina — At this Catalina-based shop, cereal is infused into the ice cream, creating nostalgia for your tastebuds. There are also bubble waffles and loads of toppings. Find at .

Mockups ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥Â â€” This new-ish food truck serves mocktails alongside vegan soft serve. The fan favorite is the American Nightmare, with vegan vanilla soft serve, apple pie filling and Biscoff cookie crumbs. Keep up with Mockups ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥Â .

Noodies — Soft-serve gelato alongside pasta dishes. Truly, what else could you ask for? Flavors rotate weekly and two are offered at a time. Find at .

Okashi Ice Cream and Confections — Dean Blair makes ice cream with Japanese techniques and in flavors like black sesame and green tea. He makes pastries, too! Follow Okashi .

While La Estrella's donuts are outstanding, they also offer many more pastries at each of their three locations.

Miss Dessert — This small chain from Phoenix serves Hong Kong-style desserts amid its many boba options. Think creamy shaved snow topped with sticky rice and green tea ice cream, or bowls of fruit packed with colorful jellies. Find  ²¹³ÙÌý.

Nick's Sari-Sari Store — This Filipino market has a small eatery inside where lumpia, chicken adobo and other Filipino favorites are served. There's also halo-halo, a treat made with shaved ice and ube ice cream. Find  ²¹³ÙÌý.

Dirty T Tamarindo — Dirty T Tamarindo uses a recipe that dates back to the 1980s from Hermosillo, Sonora, for their chamoy-coated candies like watermelon rings and dried mango. Kubuli Crafts — For a while, freeze-dried candy was all the rage on TikTok. Kubuli Crafts brings it to ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥. Follow them !

Monsoon Chocolate — This award-winning chocolate shop makes stunning bonbons alongside chocolate bars, malt balls and confections like chocolate-covered marshmallows. Find at , plus ice cream and other treats at .

Tanna's Botannas — Owner Tanna Cole came up with a 20-spice blend to coat candies like Gushers and gummy bears. You can find the candies in stores across ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥, you can order them online, or  you can find them at the three Tanna's Botannas brick-and-mortar locations. Find more info .

Wildflower — This was restaurateur Sam Fox's first restaurant before Fox Restaurant Concepts became a nationwide empire of eateries. The dessert menu includes oatmeal pies, cinnamon doughnuts and a beautifully plated praline chocolate cookie with cappuccino mousse. Find at .

Desserts that don't really fit in any other category 🧇

Among the menu items at Nomico, 595 E. Wetmore Road, is the pictured raindrop cake. You can order it with sauces such as brown sugar, lemon or grapefruit. Pictured behind the raindrop cake is the Nomico Special, with panna cotta and toppings like coconut jelly, black sticky rice and taro balls.

Churros El Rey — There's a good chance you've seen this food truck around town, whipping up churros filled with caramel and chocolate. They also have churro sundaes! Follow Churros El Rey .

Just Churros — The churros at this food truck are made with an old-school Spanish recipe, but dusted with cinnamon and sugar, which is a Mexican invention. The recipe dates back generations. Follow Just Churros .

Mafia Kitchen — This food truck serves up cannoli in flavors like pistachio, Nutter Butter and strawberry cheesecake. Follow Mafia Kitchen .

Nomico Healthy Dessert — Nomico is a franchise from Hong Kong and its first U.S. location was in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥. The menu has crepe cakes, egg puffs with ice cream, trendy raindrop cakes and bowls of grass jelly, boba and panna cotta. Find at .

Qing Tea — Come for the boba, stay for the TikTok-viral tanghulu. Tanghulu is a Chinese snack of crunchy sugar-coated fruit on a stick. Find at .

Planet of the Crepes — Crepes for breakfast, lunch, dinner AND dessert at this food truck! For dessert, though, you can keep it simple with powdered sugar, or order fillings like strawberries and cream. Follow Planet of the Crepes .

Croffles are a hybrid of a croissant and a waffle.

Roma Imports — This hidden but beloved spot is part market, part deli. There's a restaurant menu of cold and hot sandwiches, pastas and our former food writer's favorite cannoli. Find at
