If you're looking for something different to do with your little ones, check out at The University of ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Museum of Art.
Your kids ages 2-5 will enjoy a story time and art-making event where they'll explore works of art, move their bodies and investigate and learn about objects and art materials.Â
The program is designed to inspire and foster cognitive, fine and gross motor skills. Plus, you get to bond with your kiddos.Â
"We started Art Sprouts three years ago as a summer art program," said Chelsea Farrar, the museum's curator of community engagement. "Since then it has grown to a yearlong program with sessions twice a month. We are also thrilled to be able to offer scholarships and free parking for families thanks to support from the Marshall Foundation."
Art Sprouts is free with museum admission of $8. Your CatCard will get you in free if you have one.
Spaces are limited, so make sure you RSVP to cjfarrar@email.arizona.edu or by calling 621-9504.
There are a limited number of scholarships available, thanks to a grant from the Marshall Foundation. Email or call the number above for more info.Â
Art Sprouts takes place at 9:30 a.m. every other Wednesday, starting tomorrow, through May 10.Â
