The is heading outdoors for its next concert on Sunday, Nov. 19, joining the 's Riverfront Park Classical .
It鈥檚 a first for the community orchestra, led by Music Director Keun Oh, which is making its debut on the SAACA series at Riverfront Park, 552 W. Lambert Lane in Oro Valley.
The orchestra鈥檚 鈥淪ymphonic Potpourri鈥 concert will include the fourth movement of Brahms鈥 Symphony No. 2, Grieg鈥檚 鈥淧eer Gynt鈥 Suite No. 1 and excerpts from Copland鈥檚 鈥淩odeo,鈥 Faur茅鈥檚 鈥淧avane鈥 and the ever-popular Hollywood hit 鈥淧irates of the Caribbean.鈥
The concert begins at 4 p.m., and admission is free. Because it鈥檚 outdoors, lawn chairs are recommended.

On Dec. 3, the orchestra will partner with El Conquistador Resort for 鈥淏etween Heaven and Earth,鈥 which will feature harp soloist performing Handel鈥檚 Concerto for Harp in B-flat Major on a program that includes Beethoven鈥檚 鈥淓gmont鈥 Overture, Rossini鈥檚 鈥淭he Thieving Magpie鈥 and holiday favorites.
Harpist Denielle Eliason will guest with Civic Orchestra of 蜜柚直播 for its 鈥淏etween Heaven and Earth鈥 concert at El Conquistador Resort on Dec. 3.

Youth ensemble opens season
opens its 2023-24 season with its 鈥淔all Showcase 2023鈥 on Sunday, Nov. 19, at Catalina Foothills High School, 4300 E. Sunrise Drive.
The concert will shine the spotlight on its concertmaster, 15-year-old Pusch Ridge Christian Academy junior , a violin prodigy who has won a number of local and regional youth competitions since she started playing violin when she was 5.
Jaqueline will perform the first movement of Saint-Sa毛ns Violin Concerto No. 3 during Sunday鈥檚 concert, which starts at 3 p.m.
Pusch Ridge Christian Academy junior Jaqueline Rodenbeck will solo with the 蜜柚直播 Philharmonia Youth Orchestra at its season-opening concert on Sunday, Nov. 19.
Jaqueline鈥檚 list of accolades includes being accepted when she was 8 years old in the prestigious Heifetz International Institute Program for the Exceptionally Gifted in Virginia as their youngest participant. She has soloed with a number of 蜜柚直播 ensembles, including Civic Orchestra of 蜜柚直播, 蜜柚直播 Symphonic Winds and Southern 蜜柚直播 Symphony Orchestra.
Admission to Sunday鈥檚 concert is $20, $10 for children and seniors, at the door. For more information, visit .
The concert is one of three the youth ensemble will perform this season. On Feb. 11, 2024, the orchestra spotlights its artists, and in April it will host its spring gala.
Civic Orchestra of 蜜柚直播 member Bob Atwell composed a new work in memory of the late Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg.
