An SUV driver has been arrested in connection with a crash Tuesday afternoon on Interstate 10 north of ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ that involved a school bus, leaving three students and an adult with serious injuries, authorities said.
The unidentified driver of a Volvo SUV is suspected of colliding with the driver's side of the school bus. The crash caused the bus to swerve into the median, strike a barrier cable and roll onto its side, the state Department of Public Safety said. The SUV driver was later taken into custody, but investigators had not released specific charges by Wednesday morning.
The crash happened about 1:40 p.m. on eastbound I-10 near the Tangerine Road exit. A portion of the interstate remained closed until early Wednesday morning.

The injuries to the four passengers were labeled as "serious" by the state Department of Public Safety, but no details have been provided.
"There are no life threatening injuries; however, some serious injuries have been reported," the school district posted on its website late Tuesday. "All students and staff, including those who were not injured, have been transported to ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Medical Center and Banner University Medical Center for evaluation and medical treatment as needed. Those who are uninjured and medically cleared will be released from the hospital today."

Except for those seriously injured, the students were taken to the ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ hospitals on buses sent to the crash scene by Marana school district, troopers said.
