A 90-year-old man and 88-year-old woman may have been intentionally exposed to carbon monoxide at a home on ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥'s northwest side, officials say.
At about 3:30 p.m., deputies responded to check welfare at the home in the 6000 block of North Montebella Road, the Pima County Sheriff's Department said.
Firefighters from Northwest Fire District and Golder Ranch Fire District were dispatched to the medical emergency and found the pair unconscious and breathing. Both were taken to Banner-University Medical Center.
There is no danger to the surrounding neighborhood, which is southeast of West Orange Grove Road and North La Cholla Boulevard.Â
Anyone with further information about the case is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME, an anonymous tipster line.
