The ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ office of the National Weather Service posted a promising weather forecast on its Facebook page today for anyone looking for a rainy day after a nearly two-month dry spell.
"Confidence is increasing for widespread rain, especially Thursday morning across Southeast ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥," the post says.
Expect 0.25" to 0.5" of rain in the region's valleys and up to 1 inch of rain in the mountains.
The last measurable rain in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ was on Oct. 19.
Bad news for anyone looking for snowy mountain tops. "This will be all rain event, even for the mountain tops," the forecast continues.
