Kohler, known for its kitchen and bath products, has opened the doors to its multi-million dollar Casa Grande manufacturing facility.
The opening of the facility will create 400 new full-time administrative and production jobs.
Sterling brand bath and shower fixtures will be produced in the space, which is approximately 1 million square feet.
In addition to the manufacturing facility, there’s an ancillary warehouse, distribution center, office space and cafeterias. For customers, there’s a showroom.
“As one of the world’s most recognized brands known for its commitment to sustainability and innovation, Kohler strengthens ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥â€™s rapidly growing manufacturing industry,†said ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Gov. Katie Hobbs, who attended the ribbon cutting.
The company will track key sustainability measures to minimize greenhouse gas emissions, water use, solid waste, as well as energy efficiency, according to a news release.

Kohler will incorporate electric boilers, install a 21-megawatt solar array microgrid, utilize long-duration energy storage batteries with 68 megawatt hours of storage, and install 12MW of HVO-capable Kohler industrial backup generators.
