An international distribution and warehouse company will officially open its new U.S. headquarters in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ next month.
(ILS) is putting the finishing touches on a new 115,000-square-foot facility at 3780 E. Valencia Road.
The 32-foot ceiling clearance allows for high storage and there are 14 docks, with the capacity to expand to 26 docs, said Tirzo Gortary, the director of the new ILS distribution center.
The new building is one of the three in the that was developed by Kansas-based Flint Development.
The 24-year-old ILS company offers third-party logistics, warehousing, distribution and import/export services. Its parent company, (formerly The Offshore Group), also based in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥, was founded in 1986.

The original ILS warehouse, at 8350 E. Old Vail Road, is still operating next to Tetakwai’s offices.
“The move has that feeling of moving out of your parents’ house but still coming home for dinner,†Gortary said. “We’ve been in ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ forever and everyone is excited to have our footprint here.â€
Aside from international clients, ILS is looking to expand to local warehousing and e-commerce distribution services for local and regional clients.
“We are versatile in our services,†Gortary said. “We’re hoping to diversify our services in the ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ area with local commerce.â€
Because ILS is a bonded warehouse, clients can store merchandise with them and delay payments of duties and taxes until they’re ready for final importation.

That is a big concern for companies now as they navigate the impact of tariffs on products crossing the border.
ILS has warehouse sites in the cities of Hermosillo, Guaymas, Empalme, Queretaro, Saltillo, San Luis Potosi, Guadalajara and Mexico City.
The ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ facility is expected to open April 4.
