A man accused of trying to sexually assault a girl while wearing a clown mask was sentenced to more than 30 years in prison and a lifetime of probation.Â
Corey Morris was sentenced June 26 in Pima County Superior Court after pleading guilty to attempted sexual assault, burglary, and voyeurism in connection with a September 2015 in which he entered a house rented by four women and tried to sexually assault a young girl.Â
While wearing a clown mask, Morris entered the girl's room while she slept and tried to sexually assault her, the Pima County Attorney's Office said in a news release Monday. The girl screamed when she saw him standing in her doorway, alerting one of her roommates. Morris fled after the roommate also screamed, but his fingerprint, phone, and DNA were found at the scene.Â
The phone contained videos of two women and a man undressing, the county attorney's office said. The camera angles indicated Morris recorded from the outside of different homes. Another victim was identified from the videos.Â
