A man accused in a series of robberies was arrested after a witness obtained a license plate number from a getaway vehicle at an east-side Jamba Juice last week.
Aaron Littlefield, 31, was taken into custody July 12 and was booked into the Pima County jail on suspicion of seven counts of armed robbery and one count of robbery, according to a ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Police Department Facebook post on Thursday, July 20. Littlefield is being held in lieu of a $31,500 bond.
In June, ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ police and Pima County Sheriff's Department robbery detectives began investigating a series of robberies and armed robberies at various business that involved a white man in his mid- to- late 30s, authorities said.
In most of the robberies, the man was armed with a black handgun and demanded money from the cashier at the register.
During the investigation, detectives learned of additional robberies involving a suspect matching a similar description, police said.

On July 11 shortly after 3:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to an armed robbery at Jamba Juice at 7155 E. Tanque Verde Road. Officers were told a white man entered the store and demanded money from an employee.
The robber pulled his shirt up and showed a black handgun in his waistband, police said. The robber was given an undisclosed amount of money and left. Employees saw the man leave in a white passenger vehicle that struck several vehicles before heading west on Tanque Verde Road, police said.
After a witness provided officers with a license plate number of the getaway vehicle, detectives followed leads and on July 12 found the vehicle at an east-side business. The suspect was found and taken into custody without incident, police said.
The investigation is continuing. Detectives ask that anyone with information call 88-CRIME, the anonymous tipster hotline. Â
