A furniture, appliance and electronic store is closing its two ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ locations.
The location on Broadway and Craycroft Road has “store closing†signs posted on the front door, noting all inventory is 25% to 40% discounted.
That store is 33,355 square feet.
The lease for the 40,000-square-foot store at Orange Grove and Thornydale roads has not been renewed.
Conn’s has started closing nearly 100 stores across the country as the Texas-based retailer considers Chapter 11 bankruptcy filing.
With consumers cutting back on discretionary spending, such as furniture, Conn’s has posted three years of losses, Bloomberg ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ reports.
The company opened its first ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ location in 2012 in the former Circuit City on Broadway.

It focused on “credit-challenged†customers who didn’t have access to traditional credit and offered rent-to-own options for items such as mattresses, televisions or washing machines.
No date has been announced for the closures, nor plans for the big spaces that will be vacated.
