A Pima County jury has convicted a ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ man on charges stemming from a fatal 2017 Thanksgiving Day shooting, according to court officials.
Lamont Adams was convicted of first degree murder, Pima County Superior Court spokeswoman Krisanne LoGalbo said.Ìý
At about 9 a.m. on Nov. 23, 2017, 38-year-old Carlos Simmons was shot in the chest during an argument that involved several people in midtown ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥, ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ archives show.Ìý
Simmons was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died. Adams was arrested by police and booked into jail the the following week.
