The FBI's investigation into federal corruption within several college basketball programs has ensnared many top teams, including ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥.
And now, apparently, Alabama. Â
Crimson Tide athletic director Greg Byrne has performed an "internal review" of the men's basketball team. As a result, Alabama assistant coach and administrator Kobie Baker resigned Wednesday.
Byrne released a statement.Â

There is no confirmation that Alabama is indeed one of the programs involved in the FBI investigation, but an abrupt resignation in a timely manner raises questions. Byrne said that he couldn't identify "NCAA or SEC rules" that had been broken. Â
Coincidentally, Byrne served as the UA's athletic director until February and was instrumental in the Wildcats' retention of basketball coach Sean Miller. The two remain close friends.Â
