Nick Johnson scored a game-high 17 points on Tuesday and led the Austin Spurs in a 98-76 win over the Raptors 905 in the G League Finals to be named the series' most valuable player.Â
In a best-of-three series, the former ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Wildcat averaged 17 points, 5 rebounds and just under 3 assists per game off the bench as the Spurs swept the Raptors 905.

The 25-year-old played a key role for Austin this season as its sixth man and averaged 11.7 points, 4 rebounds and 3.7 assists in the regular season. In the playoffs, Johnson averaged 15.5 points, 6 rebounds and 3.5 assists on 47.8 percent shooting, 66.7 percent from 3-point range.

Johnson was the No. 42 overall pick by the Houston Rockets in the 2014 NBA Draft, and spent his rookie season going back-and-forth between Houston and the Rio Grande Valley Vipers, the Rockets' G League.
In the summer of 2015, Johnson was a part of a trade that sent him and three other players to the Nuggets in exchange for Ty Lawson. Denver waived Johnson at the start of the season.Â
The 2014 Pac-12 Player of the Year was picked up by the Austin Spurs mid-way through the 2015-16 season and averaged 10.4 points and 3.7 rebounds per game. In 2016, Johnson signed with the Orlando Magic, who waived him before the season in October. Johnson signed a one-year deal overseas with Bayern Munich in Germany, before coming back to play for the Austin Spurs.
Austin finished the regular season with a 32-18 record, 5-0 in the postseason.
