During the fourth quarter in New England's 23-3 win on Sunday, Bills defensive back Tre'Davious White jumped up to intercept Tom Brady, but got tangled up with Gronkowski in the process.

After White secured the interception and the play ended, he lied on his stomach and was in the process of standing up. A "frustrated" Gronkowski  body slammed his forearm into the back of White's helmet.

Gronkowski was penalized for unnecessary roughness, but was not ejected from the game.

During the postgame hand shake between Patriots head coach Bill Belichick apologized to Bills head coach Sean McDermott for Gronkowski's hit on White.

Gronkowski apologized Sunday in the locker room following the late hit. 

Here's tight end Rob Gronkowski after the game and his apology to ."I'm not in the business of that. It was just a lot of frustration. I was just really frustrated at that moment. Just want to apologize to Tre'Davious White."

This is the first career suspension for Gronkowski in now his seventh season in the NFL.
