Observations from warmups before the ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Wildcats’ game against NAU tonight at ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ Stadium:
* As we reported earlier today, it appears that Brandon Dawkins will start at quarterback. Dawkins worked with first-team center Nathan Eldridge during early warmups and was the first quarterback up during 7-on-7.
* The first "Mike" linebacker in the 7-on-7 portion of warmups was veteran Brandon Rutt. Rutt was listed as a co-starter at that spot with freshman Colin Schooler. It’s no surprise that Rutt is starting. Expect both to play extensively.
*Ìý°Õ°ù²¹²Ô²õ´Ú±ð°ù Dereck Boles lined up with the first team at nose tackle. It looks like he’s going to get the start over senior Luca Bruno. Again, both are expected to play a lot.

*Â On the other side of the line, senior Gerhard de Beer lined up with the first team at right tackle. He was listed as a co-starter with Cody Creason.
*Â If the game ends up being a blowout, and a third ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ quarterback plays, it could be walk-on Zach Werlinger. He's dressed and participated in warmups.
