ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥

The first player to leave ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ and enter the transfer portal, which officially opens on Dec. 9, is backup quarterback Brayden Dorman, who announced his decision to leave the program on Sunday evening. Dorman has three years of eligibility remaining. 

The 6-5, 221-pound Dorman signed with the Wildcats in 2023 as a four-star prospect. Dorman signed with ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ over Colorado, Cal, Iowa State, Mississippi State and Kansas, among others. He was the third quarterback to join ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ under former head coach Jedd Fisch, joining Jayden de Laura and current starter Noah Fifita.  

Dorman, the Colorado Springs native, threw for 10,285 yards over four seasons at Vista Ridge High School, putting up 116 touchdowns and 37 interceptions. As a senior, Dorman completed 71.4% of his passes for 3,783 yards, 49 touchdowns and nine interceptions.

After Fisch left for Washington, Dorman entered the transfer portal, but stayed after current ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ head coach Brent Brennan was hired.

Dorman contended for the backup role behind Fifita, but was edged out by walk-on Cole Tannenbaum. The Wildcats also signed Anthony Garcia (San Jose State) and Adam Damante (Northern ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥) in the transfer portal earlier this year. 

ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ also two quarterbacks, Robert McDaniel and Luke Haugo, committed to the Wildcats' 2025 recruiting class.

Fifita, a two-year starter and face of ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ football, has two more years of eligibility. 

In two seasons at ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥, Dorman didn't appear in any games.
