The eight units at Brady Court, , were built in 1915.

Owner Marcel Dabdoub bought the property in 2016 and recently started renovations with $400,000 in tenant-improvement permits.

“I think it has a lot of potential as apartments,� he said. “I like the layout and the fact that they each have porches and a central courtyard.�

Brady Court is a registered historic zone, so keeping the exteriors the same is required, said Bill Mackey, of Worker Inc. Architecture, who is working on the property.

“They’re pretty precious,� he said, “and we want to preserve what’s there.�

The kitchens are getting completely redone and windows will be upgraded.

The bungalows range in size from 619 to 825 square feet and will be market-rate rentals. A price point has not been established.

The units have been vacant since last summer, and Dabdoub hopes to have them ready for renters by the end of the year.

• A $17.5 million permit has been issued for a new All Seasons Care facility at in Oro Valley.

• A $6.6 million permit was issued for a 3,800-square-foot self-storage facility at Steam Pump Ranch, .
• OneAZ Credit Union got a $1.7 million permit for a new branch at .
• A solar parking structure is under construction at Flowing Wells High School, . The building permit was for $1.4 million.
• A $1 million Circle K is going up at .
• The Centene Call Center at is getting $1.5 million worth of upgrades.
• Demolition permits have been issued for single-family homes in the Jefferson Park neighborhood as part of the Banner Health expansion. The homes at , and , , , and , , , , and are schedule to be torn down.
