A 105-year-old passenger has died from injuries in a midtown crash, police say.
A Kia Sportage SUV was headed east at East 22nd Street and South Alvernon Way when it crashed into a Toyota Prius, a ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ police news release said.Â
The Kia then crashed into a Honda Accord and Chevrolet pickup stopped at a red light.
Emmeal Martin, a passenger in the Prius, was injured. In an initial news release from the department, police originally said that Martin was a passenger in the Kia.
Witnesses said the Kia ran a red light before it struck the passenger side of the Prius, which was making a left turn as the signal turned green.
ÃÛèÖÖ±²¥ paramedics took Martin, the driver of the Kia, and the driver of the Prius to a hospital with non-life-threatening injuries at the time.

On Sept. 17, police were made aware that Martin had died at the hospital from injuries related to the crash.
Officers determined neither driver was impaired and the investigation continues.
