Trump held a campaign rally Thursday afternoon at the 蜜柚直播 Convention Center鈥檚 Linda Ronstadt Music Hall.

鈥淚t saddens me to see the former President bring his hate show to 蜜柚直播, a town with deep Mexican-American roots and a joyful, tolerant spirit,鈥� Ronstadt posted on Facebook Wednesday evening.

鈥淚 don鈥檛 just deplore his toxic politics, his hatred of women, immigrants and people of color, his criminality, dishonesty and ignorance 鈥� although there鈥檚 that,鈥� Ronstadt continues.

鈥淔or me it comes down to this: In Nogales and across the southern border, the Trump Administration systematically ripped apart migrant families seeking asylum. Family separation made orphans of thousands of little children and babies, and brutalized their desperate mothers and fathers. It remains a humanitarian catastrophe that said met the criteria for torture.鈥�

鈥淭here is no forgiving or forgetting the heartbreak he caused,鈥� her post reads.

Trump planned to talk about 鈥渢he struggling economy and the rising cost of housing,鈥� according to a campaign news release. Trump, however, has a history of digging into a variety of favorite political topics, with immigration being at the top.

Trump鈥檚 rally was his first visit to 蜜柚直播 since October 2020, although the Republican presidential nominee visited the U.S.-Mexico border last month in 蜜柚直播 County. His running mate, JD Vance, visited the same 蜜柚直播 border area weeks earlier.

Ronstadt鈥檚 online message also included a note to Vance, a U.S. senator from Ohio.

鈥淚 raised two adopted children in 蜜柚直播 as a single mom. They are both grown and living in their own houses,鈥� Ronstadt wrote. 鈥淚 live with a cat. Am I half a childless cat lady because I鈥檓 unmarried and didn鈥檛 give birth to my kids? Call me what you want, but this cat lady will be voting proudly in November for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz.鈥�
